The company was implementing Blue Yonder and needed various internal employees to provide their subject matter expertise throughout the implementation.

The Solution

Catena Solutions brought in a team to take on the workload of the SMEs being pulled away to assist with the implementation.

Our consultants provided senior expertise and guidance to the Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Materials Planning teams to enable the tactical day-to-day operations of the company.

Demand Planning Solution: Catena Solutions supported the Demand Planning team by managing system statistical data in Blue Yonder; executing changes to forecast analyses; enhancing forecasts by merging business knowledge and expertise with statistical models; providing forecast intelligence to the Supply Planning team; and sharing ownership in company case fill service level performance.

Supply Planning Solution: We supported the Supply Planning team by developing and implementing production plans and driving the strategic execution needed to deliver the organization’s goals on order fill rates, obsolete inventory, inventory levels, and cost optimization.

Materials Planning Solution: Our support to the Materials Planning team included ensuring packaging supply while maximizing value. Packaging categories in scope included flexibles and cartons; packaging categories for future consideration include master cases. The Materials Planning resource was also responsible for generating daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to support both the project and day-to-day operations.
