JOB TITLE: SEO Retailer Media Copywriter – long term contract
LOCATION: Boston, MA
PAY RATE: $35ph- $42ph / w2
START DATE: mid-late January 2025
DURATION: approx. 6 months with possible extension
HOURS: 20 hours per week (fully remote) with possible increase to 40 hours (which you need to be onsite 3 days per week
JOB SUMMARY:
Amazing opportunity to join iconic toy brand as a Copywriter!
Some responsibilities include:
1) Re-work copy that we receive from Global to add SEO keywords and also to ensure it flows well for American English. This would be for the titles, bullets, descriptions on our Product Detail Pages. They wouldn’t be starting from scratch – they get a base copy for each sku from the global team and just need to improve it.
2) Improve the text over images – we launch with text over our images at our top retailers. The text doesn’t do a good job selling the set – so we improve it to better call out features and benefits. In addition, we might change it for an upcoming holiday.
3) Optimize copy for key holiday time periods.
4) They will be responsible for adding it to our PIM (Salsify) and publishing it to our retailers.
Experience
- Must have experience writing product copy for Amazon, Walmart and/or Target
- 3-5 years of experience writing product copy for online, keywords, titles, bullets and description
- Excellent writing and communications skills
